Ilinka’s Bio
Ilinka was raised in a small and previously rural town where she developed a love for Food & People. Being a first-generation daughter, opened up a world of opportunity when it came to unique cuisines and life experiences. Ilinka studied Hospitality and Business Management both as a bay area local and new Long Beach resident. She went on to combine her cooking and entrepreneurial skills when she cofounded Tensix, a nonprofit that helps the food insecure. Ilinka’s food is a reflection of her Mexican and Serbian background but also influenced by her diverse upbringing in the Bay Area. All of her dishes are comforting and executed with attention to every detail. For ChefCentury, Ilinka teams up with her first and #1 mentor, her mom Sandra.
